In January, the Project has been conducting one-day training events for local government officials in AUC regional offices. The purpose of such events is to provide for experience exchange, expert consultations and preparation of legislation amendments.   The topics of such training events have been identified based on the monitoring of consultancy needs conducted by AUC Regional Offices.

JANUARY 25,    the Project conducted an expert workshop in the Donetsk AUC Regional Office to discuss the introduction of the ISO 9001 Quality Standards for administrative services and the corresponding major requirements for Ukrainian cities.  City mayors and representatives of the Oblast State Administration represented the participants of the event.

JANUARY 27,    the Project conducted an expert workshop in the Cherkasy AUC Regional Office to discuss development in cities and related best practices, experience and problem issues.  City mayors, architecture and urban development department heads represented the participants of the event.
