Additional peculiarities of the municipality:

The municipality's fertile black earth soils support productive farms growing wheat, barley and vegetables, and local artisans preserve centuries-old pottery and weaving traditions. Although Medvyn is facing an out-migration of young people from the region, its proximity to Kyiv (120 km) and unspoilt rural charm offer growing potential for agritourism, homestay accommodation and cultural heritage tourism.
