Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
The municipality is located in the south-west of the Zhytomyr region. Although it is sparsely urbanised, it has good transport links and a developed agricultural sector and retail trade.
The task for the development of a Comprehensive Spatial Development Plan for the municipality has already been prepared. As a next step, the municipality has developed a Community Development Strategy. This strategy involves the implementation of 39 project ideas. These ideas aim to improve the community's economic, social and cultural development, including accessibility.
Local targeted programmes are currently being actively prepared.
The municipality allocates budgetary and additional resources to achieve the goals of the strategy.
These initiatives are aimed at improving the lives of residents and developing the municipality as a whole, as high-quality services and comfortable living conditions will encourage young people to return to the municipality after graduation, motivate citizens temporarily residing in the territory to stay permanently, and citizens who were forced to emigrate due to the war to return home.
