The Dubno municipality is a logistical and commercial hub in western Ukraine with a population of more than 38,300 residents.
The municipality benefits from an exceptional transport network, located at the intersection of the E40 and E85 international highways, just 143 km from the Polish border (Ustyluh crossing) and 37 km from the Rivne Airport. It is also a key railway node on the Zdolbuniv–Krasne freight and passenger line.
The economic profile of the municipality includes over 2,900 registered businesses. The industrial sector consists of one large cheese factory, 13 medium enterprises, and 159 small businesses, with food processing driving 93.5% of the total industrial output alongside developed woodworking, chemical, textile, and glass processing sectors.
The municipality is actively seeking international partnerships and donor support in energy efficiency, waste management, housing for IDPs, modernisation of healthcare and schools, and tourism development.
