Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Hola Prystan is a city located 18 km from the regional centre of Kherson. It serves as an organisational, economic, cultural, social, and health-recreational hub and it is an administrative centre of Hola Prystan municipality. It consists of 14 localities.
Convenient waterways and highways pass through the city, connecting it with cities and regional centres of Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions, as well as transit routes leading to resort localities along the Black Sea coast.
The geographical location of the city provides advantages for the development of ecological, sports, and fishing tourism. The Dnipro Delta is rich in islands with untouched nature, many of which are part of the Lower Dnipro National Nature Park. One of these is Bilohrudyi Island, situated only 300 metres from the centre of Hola Prystan, accessible exclusively by water. The island possesses strong recreational potential, fostering the growth of ecological tourism.
Hola Prystan is known in Ukraine and abroad for its deep cultural traditions and ethnical festivals such as National Charity Festival of Folk Art “Kupalski Zori” and Festival “Ukrainskyi Kavun – Solodke Dyvo”. Annually thousands of tourists and participants from all over Ukraine and such countries as Poland, Romania, Germany, Belarus, Bulgaria visited these festivals.
