3. Reconstruction of buildings of the municipal hospital

Economy & Industry:

  • A major transportation hub (railways and highways).
  • Industries include machinery, energy, food processing, and construction.
  • Home to the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant (located nearby in Netishyn).

Culture & Education:

  • Several universities, including Khmelnytskyi National University.
  • Theatres, museums, and historical landmarks.
  • Hosts various cultural festivals and events.

Transportation:

  • Khmelnytskyi Railway Station – connects to major Ukrainian cities.
  • Public transport: buses, trolleybuses, and minibuses.
  • Highways linking to Kyiv, Lviv, and Vinnytsia.

  • St. George’s Church (19th century).

  • Due to its strategic location, it has been an important logistical and military center, especially since the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
