Additional peculiarities of the municipality:

The municipality has a unique geographical location, significant agricultural and labor potential, and a rich cultural and historical heritage. Priority sectors of the economy include agriculture, processing and extractive industries, and tourism. The municipality is rich in deposits of sand, clay, and limestone, and also has explored sources of mineral water.

The favourable conditions for tourism development created by forests, reservoirs and a rich historical and cultural heritage are evident in the municipality, where unique wooden churches, former manor houses and other historical monuments have been preserved.
