Area of municipality: 394.94 km2

Construction of a gas boiler house on Kashtanova Street, Obukhiv
Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Located just 45 kilometres south of Kyiv, it is a rapidly developing municipality with a clear and ambitious vision — to become a key regional centre for medical care and rehabilitation for Ukrainian soldiers and civilians affected by the war. With a population of about 47,000 and well-developed transport accessibility, Obukhiv is uniquely positioned to host a high-impact, region-serving medical and rehabilitation facility. Currently, there is no such modern center operating in the southern part of Kyiv region.
As part of our strategic development plan, we are seeking international partners and investors to help establish a state-of-the-art Regional Rehabilitation and Medical Recovery Centre in Obukhiv. This multidisciplinary center will provide long-term care and rehabilitation for wounded Ukrainian defenders, offer psychological and physical support for civilians suffering from war trauma, and serve internally displaced persons in need of continuous medical attention. The facility will include both inpatient and outpatient services, with specialised departments in prosthetics, neuro-rehabilitation, physiotherapy, mental health treatment, and social reintegration.
The local authorities are fully committed to this project, land has been identified for development, and the municipality is recognised among the top 20 most investment-attractive municipalities in Kyiv region. The municipality is known for transparent governance, stability, and strategic planning. Its location offers a strong foundation for the creation of a truly regional centre.
The goal is to construct an energy-efficient, barrier-free facility that meets EU standards. The centre will not only provide essential services but also function as a training hub for medical and rehabilitation professionals, and as a platform for international medical cooperation and knowledge exchange.
The municipality is looking for partners to support capital investments, supply medical equipment, contribute expertise, and collaborate in operational management. There is a critical and growing need for these services — and your involvement can create lasting change, restore lives, and demonstrate solidarity through impact.
