Pavlohrad municipality, a major industrial center in Dnipropetrovsk region and the hub of the Western Donbas coal basin, houses 125,000 residents, including over 20,000 internally displaced persons. Strategically positioned at the intersection of the E50 European route and three major railway lines, the city features a highly diversified industrial base of 25 enterprises spanning mining, machine-building, and chemical sectors. For URC 2026, the municipality is prioritising critical infrastructure modernization, highlighting a planned 16,000 m³ per day advanced biological wastewater treatment plant integrated with a 620 MWh solar power facility. This high-priority project offers international investors and donors a transparent opportunity to drive energy resilience, green transition, and sustainable regional economic growth.
