Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Positioned at a strategic intersection of national highways, it historically served as a vital transport hub. The municipality has significant tourism potential as part of a regional route connecting the National Reserve “Khortytsia” with the Popov Manor Museum Complex and the HOMEZOO wild animal rehabilitation centre. However, since the 2022 invasion, the municipality has suffered severe infrastructure damage and economic losses, causing local industrial enterprises and the Tavriisk railway station to suspend operations. Looking ahead to recovery, the municipality offers international donors and investors strategic location advantages, strong potential for rebuilding its agricultural and industrial base, and a proven record of resilience.
