Additional peculiarities of the municipality:

Dobropillya municipality was founded on 12 June 2020. Due to the development of the coal industry, the city of Dobropillya is known as the ‘pearl of Donbas’. Today, it is the centre of a coal-rich region where some of the largest coal deposits in Donbas are located.
