Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
1) The city of Kryvyi Rih currently generates 17% of the national GDP thanks to its industrial activity.
2) The city has large reserves of potentially useful waste (50 million tonnes of slag and 4 billion tonnes of iron ore processing waste) that can be used in recycling and circular economy projects.
3) Thanks to diversification efforts, the city has significantly reduced the gap between large metallurgical enterprises and small and medium-sized businesses. Therefore, it is possible to profitably implement projects related not only to industry but also to the service and trade sectors.
