The municipality is located in the Carpathians and borders the Republic of Poland. Nearby are famous resorts in Ukraine and the world: Truskavets, Skhidnytsia, Slavsko. The territory of the municipality is free from industrial pollution and has a clean ecological environment with wide biodiversity. The territory is famous for a large number of medicinal and tea plants, mushrooms. It has picturesque landscapes and mineral waters.
