Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
The municipality has a favourable geographical location near the capital of Ukraine and is a highly-developed industrial region with enterprises based on the processing industry.
The main types of products are: rubber and plastics, finished metals textiles, food and engineering products, building materials, chemical industry and pharmaceutical products etc. The sphere of services and trade is also highly developed and based on small and medium-sized enterprises. Utility infrastructure is outdated and in need of modernisation.
