Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Dachne municipality is situated near Odesa city and lies along important national transport corridors, including railway and highway routes, making it logistically advantageous for trade and movement.
It has a strong agricultural and industrial profile. The seed company SELENA and agribusiness IVA are among Ukraine’s leading enterprises. The CEMENT plant, part of the international CRH Group, is the largest cement producer in southern Ukraine.
The community actively invests in infrastructure: roads, water supply, gas networks, street lighting, educational and medical facilities. Modular shelters were built for over 1,200 schoolchildren, and medical services were strengthened with modern equipment.
Despite damage caused by missile and drone attacks during the war, the municipality has restored critical facilities and supports reconstruction of educational and cultural buildings, including Dachne Lyceum No.2. It also provides housing for internally displaced persons and support for the Armed Forces.
Dachne is implementing modern spatial and land planning tools and participates in national programs and governance bodies. Its proactive administration ensures sustainable development and resilience in wartime conditions.
