Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Kuty municipality has good logistics, with direct highway links to active and upcoming Romanian border checkpoints, and is close to Moldova, Poland, and Hungary. The municipality shares its territory with the Hutsulshchyna National Nature Park, making it ideal for eco-tourism, green housing, and forest conservation projects. Economically, the area thrives on apple orchards, berry farming, sheep breeding, and commercial baking, alongside a rich history of woodworking and authentic ceramics. It also shares deep historical ties with Poland, having served as the final meeting place for the Polish government in 1939. The local council is deeply committed to energy efficiency, recently completing a thermal modernisation of the local lyceum, and eagerly welcomes international donors for infrastructure and cultural projects.
