Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
The Mezhova municipality is located in the far east of Dnipropetrovsk region, bordering Donetsk region. It includes seven starostyn districts, which number 30 settlements (2 settlements, 28 villages).
The economic activity of the Mezhova municipality is provided by the agricultural sector and the service sector. The business entities of the Mezhova municipality are representatives of micro and small businesses, the main type of activity of which is trade and provision of services in the field of agriculture, transport, and household services.
There are 578 business entities operate in the municipality.
The largest employer before the war was the Demurinsky Mining and Processing Plant.
Since 2006, Demurynskyi GOK LLC has been developing the Vovchansk complex alluvial titanium-zirconium deposit in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The budget of the Mezhova municipality finances 60 socio-cultural institutions.
Due to the approach to the front line, in September 2024, the Mezhova municipality was included in the list of territories where hostilities are (were) underway or temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation.
The Mezhova municipality was one of the first in Ukraine to adopt the Program for the Comprehensive Restoration of the Territory of the Mezhova municipality and is working on the implementation of reconstruction projects.
