Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Mukacheve is open to international cooperation and the establishment of interregional partnerships, investment activities and aimed at the exchange of experience in local self-government, development of cultural, educational, economic and social ties. Mukacheve is known for its rich history and cultural heritage. The center of the municipality is the city of Mukachevo, which, due to its advantageous geographical location near the borders with Hungary, Slovakia and Romania, acts as an important transport and logistics hub connecting Ukraine with the countries of Central Europe. This creates favorable conditions for the development of international cooperation.
