Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
The Zlatopil municipality is located in the central part of Kharkiv Oblast.
The distance from the town of Zlatopil to the district center, the city of Lozova, is 62 km; to the regional center, Kharkiv — 86 km; and to the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv — 580 km.
Overall, the territory of the Zlatopil municipality is relatively compact. Its flat landscape, moderate continental climate, and fertile black soils create favorable conditions for agricultural development. This enables cooperative links with surrounding municipalities for food storage and processing.
A significant advantage of its location is the availability of direct railway and road connections to the regional center and other cities, whose populations are important consumers of finished products.
Thus, the geographic position of the Zlatopil municipality is well-suited for sustainable economic activity and serves as an urban center of attraction for nearby rural communities.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in February 2022, the Zlatopil municipality has received a large number of internally displaced persons (IDPs). As of June 1, 2025, the community hosts 7,735 IDPs (5,898 families), including 3,151 men, 4,584 women, and 1,757 children under 18. Among them, 3,484 are of working age, 362 are persons with disabilities, 1,571 are pensioners, 46 are large families, and 27 receive social assistance.
